Shaun Dennis, Psychic Medium
Shaun Dennis is a ‘no frills stage medium’ (what you see is what you get) and has just completed his first national theatre tour. As is stated later on, he just sees himself as an instrument between ‘this world and the next’ That point aside, while all shows are different in their own way, the information presented before audiences during performances can be staggering including Christian names, surnames, full names, districts and road names including on some occasions house numbers. I was present at one theatre north of London where virtually every link in the first half of the show was a full name of a person who had ‘passed’ from our side of life.
If after reading ‘About Shaun’, you turn to the Media page of his website you will find audio and audio/visual recordings of readings that have taken place at previous performances. Their content includes examples of the sort of detailed messages I have mentioned above. This section also includes some recordings of ‘after-show’ visits that have taken place to the homes of previous members of show audiences. Indeed all the testimonials mentioned are 100% genuine and many explain how the readings were ‘spot on’ to those who received them.
If you are a sceptical person, I know how you feel. I spent some 37 years within the nursing profession many of which were spent caring for terminally ill people. Having
witnessed so much suffering in my life, it was very difficult for me to accept there was any afterlife. However, I have been present on many occasions when patients getting near their final physical days would reach out and talk as though they were speaking to somebody who was standing before them. If visitors asked me of my own views about this, I tried to respect their personal viewpoints (spiritual and otherwise) by replying ‘ who are we to say that they can’t see someone?’
In fairness to him, Shaun respected my views and kept that part of his own beliefs from me although, I have been present at unusual psychic events that I couldn’t easily explain. To be honest, I used to find some aspects of his way of life quite annoying. For example, it wasn’t easy keeping our children quiet when they were young while he meditated. Eventually, however, as time went on I started to accompany him when he was serving on the Spiritualist Churches. It was during these visits that my earlier beliefs were completely changed. Indeed, Shaun has relayed messages to me from many former patients of mine conveying information he couldn’t have possibly known. Some years ago I retired from nursing and now have taken the role of his manager (as well as his wife!). The rest of this section covers Shaun’s development within this field from his earlier years, I hope you find it interesting
About Shaun:
Shaun has been drawn to the paranormal ever since he was a child, alarming certain members of his family with his preferred choice of reading matter. A natural intuitive with various abilities, he was meditating by the age of 14 years and joined a mystical society in his early twenties with whom he stayed with for some years. The teachings given moved him further in a different direction to that which orthodox and mainstream science regarded as reality. Like many who follow 'the path', life for him has been a journey of inner and outer discovery. |
As with others before him, he also embarked on a personal voyage to try and discover the true nature of our existence. The concept of life after death captured his attention during this period partly due to many of his own out-of-body experiences. This search for knowledge inevitably led him into spiritualism, and he was ultimately invited to demonstrate this ability in front of congregations in spiritualist halls. He has ran psychic development workshops, public and private 'mediumship circles' and past life regression sessions being both experienced and qualified to do so. Shaun believes that such gatherings require a particular approach in order to contact the 'inner realms' and both group and individual meditation is needed to 'still the mind' for these gatherings to be effective.

| Mediumship requires a high level of empathy in order that you can both appreciate the feelings of the person receiving the message and those of the spirit communicator. It is often the case that mediums have faced great personal difficulties in their lives either involving major health issues and/or the loss of close family members. Such circumstances can and do, force new future paths of life to follow often involving major career changes. Shaun believes that the positive aspect of these events that have affected his his own life, have enabled him to more fully appreciate the sufferings of others. He maintains that the two greatest gifts given to him by his parents are his sense of humour and his faith. He has needed both of these to face his own difficulties and also draws on them during his performances as he has tried to bring both comfort and upliftment into the hearts of those that attend these events. |

Like some mediums before him, and due to the growing international interest in this subject, he is now in the process of demonstrating his abilities in venues outside of the church movement which has involved him performing at both home and abroad. These events provide tactful entertainment which is uplifting, thought-provoking and moving. This approach he maintains, helps to keep people interested and includes some surprising levels of information for the audience members he is addressing on such occasions. Shaun respects the different levels of belief that exist within an audience and maintains that as we are all on a path of learning, we sometimes have to find our own answers to the greater question of our real nature.

| To shaun, a medium is an instrument which is used by the 'inner realms' to provide evidence of survival and while people can be understandably impressed about information given by such methods, it is important he feels, not to allow the spiritually sterile risks associated with self-flattery or an over-inflated ego. Mediums are like many in this world, on a path of service irrespective of the income or the sometimes celebrity status involved with this profession. |
